Muslim Community Specific Support

Working with faith and community leaders, we have produced videos promoting the importance of following government guidance in relation to Covid-19 and Covid-19 vaccination programme. To make the messaging we have produced these in Urdu, Arabi, Bengali, Farsi, Pashto, and Punjabi.

We have worked with various stakeholders from the Muslim community to explain the processes involved in Muslim burials during Covid-19. This resulted in a Muslim community webinar via Zoom on 1st April 2020 at 8.30pm, which was attended by 56 Muslim men and women. In attendance were Imam Monawar Hussain, Muslim Chaplain, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Aftab Hafiz, Al-Ansaar Funeral Service.
